I love these kinds of posts. I'm currently having issues in dealing with older generations and there reaction towards my recommendations. I'm also tired of there lack of knowledge or insight in technology and using it to make the work more efficient, cheaper. I constantly have to show older people how to do basic functions on a computer, and it irritates me that they don't even know how to research like we do. We used the internet to find answers for home work, and projects, to learn advice about basic life skills and to entertain our self's when our parents are to paranoid from the news to let us go out with some friends, and its irritating when they whine about how we spend to much time on the internet. Then ask how to do something on the computer... XD for example my uncle doesn't know anything about a computer or operating system/browser/etc... It's like teaching a baby how to talk.

I believe my generation has learned more from the internet in a shorter time then the older generations have in there boring repetitive life's. Every time I find out that a person has stayed in a job for 20+ years doing the same thing I fringe and ask why. It doesn't make sense for me to stay at one job that long and not challenge my self. 3 years max unless it's a really good job and will help me down the road. I'd rather lead then be managed, so it's even more frustrating and annoying when the person managing me is dumber and usually more raciest and close minded.

I can't wait for the day when I only work with 20-30 yr olds and don't have to deal with the bullshit from the older people who are stuck in there ways, and won't embrace the new. I'm trying to work in the web/internet field so that I can work with younger people, and be challenged with the constantly evolving knowledge.

I expect to find next years article more detailed and just as interesting. <3
